Cleveland Browns: Traded RB Isaiah Crowell to New York Jets for WR Brandon Marshall
The Cleveland Browns traded running back Isaiah Crower to the New York Giants for wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
The Browns signed Crower and drafted wide receiver Quincy Enunwa in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft.
Crower, who has played just one season in the NFL, was expected to be a key piece in New York’s offense.
Marshall, who had two years left on his contract and signed with the Browns on March 2, has been the team’s leading receiver the past two seasons.
Marshall has 11 catches for 151 yards and three touchdowns this season.
Marshall, who also caught a touchdown pass against the Denver Broncos last season, is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound athlete who also has speed.
He can also run.
ESPN reported that the Giants will be able to use Marshall on a wide receiver rotation with Odell Beckham Jr., Brandon Marshall, Sterling Shepard and Rueben Randle.
