Bryant Says He’d Take ‘The Rock’ to the Finals if LeBron James Returned
Bryant has had a rough year.
The Lakers guard is coming off the best season of his career in which he averaged 26.5 points and 6.5 assists while shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
Bryant was injured late in the season and has struggled since returning to action.
Bryant has not missed a game since the All-Star break, which was the longest stretch of his NBA career.
He was also a part of the Lakers winning the NBA Finals for the first time in 11 years last season.
Bryant also has become a favorite of NBA owners who have taken to calling him The Rock.
Bryant says he’d love to return to the ring, even if it means losing the championship.
He says he would be the favorite to win a championship if LeBron were to come back, and that would be a dream come true.
“You know, LeBron would win a title,” Bryant said on SiriusXM NBA Radio on Friday.
“He’s one of the greats, and I would love to play with him.
It’s not a dream that I’ve ever dreamed of.
But if he came back, I would totally love to go out and have a championship with him, just like I would with LeBron.
I would do it for him.”
